Wishlist, do not pre-pay a fantasy SKU

Songs of the Past is an upcoming paid expansion for 2027. CD Projekt Red has not named a price, a day, or a deluxe edition. There is nothing to “pre-order” except the base Complete Edition (and, on Switch 2, the Remastered client). What you can do today is put the expansion on a first-party wishlist so the store mails you when a cart button appears. Use this page for IDs and URLs. Use the platforms guide to decide which box. The official router is always thewitcher.com/buy. If a regional storefront is missing from the list below, start there rather than from a search-ad clone.

Steam (app 5006530)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Songs of the Past on Steam is the PC listing most people will match against screenshots. The app ID is 5006530. If a grey-market page shows a different number, it is not this expansion. You still need the Complete Edition of The Witcher 3 in the same Steam account; the DLC will not boot as a standalone.

Steam is also where many players will take the free Remastered upgrade on 29 September 2026. That upgrade is not this app ID. Do not un-wishlist 5006530 because Remastered showed up in your download queue. Details of that client are on the Remastered page.

GOG

GOG’s Songs of the Past page is the DRM-free PC listing. It reads as coming soon and requires Complete Edition. GOG is the storefront that historically made it easy to keep an older Witcher 3 branch around. That older branch is relevant only if your PC cannot meet Remastered’s Windows 11 / SSD floor; it will not receive Letten. If you want GOG plus a current-gen console, that is two purchases, not a shared license.

Epic Games Store and Battle.net

Epic carries The Witcher 3 Complete Edition today. The expansion wishlist is easiest to reach from thewitcher.com/buy so you do not favorite the base game and think you reserved Songs of the Past.

Battle.net is new for this franchise. CDPR and Blizzard announced at gamescom that Remastered and Songs of the Past are coming to Battle.net, with Remastered on the 29 September 2026 date. Purchasing the expansion on Battle.net is the path CDPR named for a Geralt-inspired Diablo 4 skin, with more detail promised around BlizzCon. A Battle.net Complete Edition is a separate PC license from Steam or GOG. Saves do not automatically hop the fence because you wishlisted both.

PlayStation 5

PS5 is confirmed. PS4 is not. Wishlist Songs of the Past from thewitcher.com/buy so you land on the current regional PlayStation Store tile. Favorite the expansion, not only Complete Edition. A PS4 disc in a PS5 tray is not a Letten license. Remastered on 29 September is the free upgrade for qualifying PS5 owners; the 2027 expansion will still be a paid add-on on the same account.

Xbox Series X|S (9NHTWNZCD043)

Songs of the Past on the Microsoft Store uses product ID 9NHTWNZCD043. Match that ID. Series X and Series S share the SKU. Xbox Play Anywhere is listed for Remastered; it is not a Game Pass announcement. Game Pass remains unconfirmed — trailer comments are not a storefront. If the Xbox tile later grows a “Included with Game Pass” badge, that is the moment to update this sentence, not a YouTube reply.

Nintendo Switch 2

Switch 2 is in the 2027 set. The original Switch is not. Remastered is a native Switch 2 SKU with pre-orders; Songs of the Past will be a paid add-on on that client. Wishlist through thewitcher.com/buy or the Nintendo eShop entry it points at. A Switch 1 cartridge plus a cloud rumor is not a plan.

Price, Complete Edition, and what not to buy

Price is TBA. Blood and Wine launched at $19.99 a decade ago; that is a historical data point, not a leak. Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine became free for existing owners and are included for new Complete Edition buyers. That generosity does not apply to Songs of the Past. Anyone selling a “Complete Edition + Songs of the Past” key before CDPR publishes a bundle is selling fiction.

Complete Edition is the only purchase SKU of the base game. If you do not own Witcher 3 yet, buy Complete Edition on the platform you will still have in 2027, take Remastered on 29 September 2026, and keep 5006530 / 9NHTWNZCD043 wishlisted. Track CDPR’s calendar on the updates hub. When a real price appears, it will show up on these same first-party pages — not as a 48-hour Steam key on a banner ad.

New Gwent cards travel with the expansion, not with a store pre-order trinket CDPR has not announced. There is no confirmed steelbook, no confirmed soundtrack disc, and no confirmed Season Pass that folds Letten into a cheaper bundle. If those products appear, they will be listed next to the same app IDs above.
